About DINORIOS. The Clinic

At DINORIOS The Clinic, we believe that modern healthcare requires a deeper understanding of the complex interactions between genetics, nutrition, metabolism, hormones, environmental exposures, lifestyle, and overall physiological function. While our foundations are firmly rooted in reproductive and women's health, our clinical philosophy extends far beyond the traditional boundaries of a fertility or gynaecology clinic.

By integrating conventional medical expertise with functional and integrative medicine principles, advanced diagnostics, and personalised nutritional and lifestyle interventions, we aim to identify and address the underlying factors contributing to disease and dysfunction rather than focusing solely on symptom management. This systems-based approach allows us to support not only fertility and hormonal health, but also metabolic, gastrointestinal, immune, neurodevelopmental, and chronic inflammatory conditions in both adults and children.

Our Practitioners

Dr. Shkelqim Balili

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Balili has held prestigious clinical and academic positions, including Head of Clinical Research at the Maternity Ward (SUOGJ) Queen Geraldine at the University Hospital of Tirana, while also furthering his expertise internationally at Hôpital Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and Maternité de Port Royal in Paris, as well as Careggi University Hospital in Florence.

At DINORIOS The Clinic, Dr. Balili combines decades of medical experience with a holistic, evidence-based approach integrating functional medicine, lifestyle optimisation, and advanced testing methodologies. Since the clinic’s establishment, this integrative approach has helped countless couples conceive naturally after years of difficulty, while also supporting successful IVF outcomes following multiple previous failed attempts.

Beyond fertility care, many patients have experienced long-term recovery from chronic recurring vaginal, urinary, and fungal infections that had persisted for years despite repeated treatments. The clinic also supports women facing menopause-related concerns, including hormonal imbalance, fatigue, sleep disturbances, recurrent urinary discomfort, intimate health issues, and reduced quality of life.

Dr. Balili strongly believes that successful treatment begins with understanding the individual behind the diagnosis. By considering the complex interaction between lifestyle, nutrition, metabolic health, environmental factors, and reproductive physiology, he works to identify and address the underlying contributors to illness rather than focusing solely on symptom management. This personalised and patient-centred approach allows for more comprehensive care and supports long-term improvements in health and wellbeing.

Known for combining knowledge, empathy, and personalised care, Dr. Balili remains committed to continuously updating his practice through the latest clinical research and scientific advancements in reproductive and women’s health.

Blerta Dino PhD,

Blerta Dino, PhD, is a Clinical Nutrition Practitioner with a strong focus on functional and integrative medicine, specialising in the identification and correction of the underlying factors contributing to chronic health concerns. Her clinical approach combines evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle medicine, advanced laboratory testing, and personalised therapeutic strategies designed to restore balance and support long-term health.

At DINORIOS The Clinic, Blerta works with both children and adults across a range of areas including digestive health, metabolic health, neurodevelopment, immune function, chronic inflammation, and environmental exposures. Her particular interest lies in understanding the complex interaction between genetics, nutrition, the microbiome, mitochondrial function, and environmental influences on health outcomes.

Working alongside Dr. Shkelqim Balili's extensive clinical experience in reproductive and women's health, Blerta brings an additional functional and integrative medicine perspective to patient care. By combining traditional clinical expertise with advanced functional assessment approaches and a deeper exploration of the interconnected systems that influence health, the clinic is able to develop highly personalised strategies aimed at addressing root causes rather than symptoms alone.

Central to her philosophy is the belief that patients should become active participants in their own health journey. Through thorough assessments, detailed interpretation of laboratory findings, and highly individualised dietary and lifestyle interventions, she empowers patients and families with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions and achieve sustainable improvements in wellbeing. Committed to continuous professional development, Blerta regularly undertakes advanced training with internationally recognised leaders in clinical nutrition, functional and integrative medicine, ensuring her practice remains aligned with the latest scientific evidence. All clinical recommendations are based on validated, evidence-based assessment methodologies, with laboratory investigations performed exclusively through accredited laboratories that meet the highest international standards for analytical quality, accuracy, and reliability.
